Crafting the Attuner

Combine a Dagger with Powdered Diamond and Powdered Emerald in a crafting grid to produce the Attuner. Both powders come from processing raw materials with the Mortar and Pestle: place the Mortar and Pestle down, then grind a Diamond into Powdered Diamond and an Emerald into Powdered Emerald. The Dagger is itself a crafted item, so make it first before assembling the Attuner.

Attuning Your Gear

With the Attuner in hand, use it on a Diamond to convert it into an Attuned Diamond, and on an Emerald to convert it into an Attuned Emerald. These attuned gems are the inputs for higher-tier recipes, including the Mystic Code line. Keep a stock of both attuned gems — you will consume them repeatedly as you build out your magical equipment.

Powder Workflow

Set up a small processing station: one Mortar and Pestle for grinding, plus a chest holding Diamonds and Emeralds. Grind in batches so you always have Powdered Diamond and Powdered Emerald ready for Attuner crafting. The same Mortar and Pestle handles other powders you will need later, such as Powdered Iron, Powdered Gold, Powdered Quartz, Powdered Ender, and Powdered Eye, so it pays to keep it accessible near your main crafting area.
