Building the Mystic Code

The Mystic Code is your core spellcasting item. Its recipe consumes attuned materials, so complete the Attuner chain first: grind Diamonds and Emeralds with the Mortar and Pestle into Powdered Diamond and Powdered Emerald, craft a Dagger, then combine them into an Attuner. Use the Attuner on a Diamond and an Emerald to get an Attuned Diamond and an Attuned Emerald. These attuned gems feed into the Mystic Code recipe.

Upgrading to First Sorcery

Once you hold a Mystic Code, craft the Mystic Code - First Sorcery. This upgraded code is the version you want for actual spellcasting. Treat the plain Mystic Code as an intermediate step — build it, then immediately convert it into the First Sorcery variant rather than carrying the base version around.

Supporting Materials

Several recipes in this chain also call for Spell Cloth, a craftable block/item you will want on hand before starting. Keep your Mortar and Pestle nearby while assembling the code, since you may need to grind additional powders mid-craft. After you have the Mystic Code - First Sorcery, store spare Attuned Diamonds and Attuned Emeralds in a dedicated chest so future upgrades and repairs do not require re-running the full powder chain.
