Casting Spells with Scrolls and Mystic Codes

Scrolls vs. Mystic Codes

Scrolls are single-purpose casts. Each Scroll of X performs the same effect as the corresponding block or spell: Scroll of Gandr, Scroll of Projection, Scroll of Fallen Down, Scroll of Ascension, Scroll of Borrowed Authority, Scroll of Damage Exchange, Scroll of Explosive Mana Condensation, Scroll of Familiar Exchange, Scroll of Immunity Exchange, Scroll of Mental Displacement, Scroll of Presence Concealment, Scroll of Probability Alter, Scroll of Projectile Displacement, Scroll of Protective Displacement, and Scroll of Proximity Projection.

Mystic Codes are reusable casters. The base Mystic Code handles general spells, while Mystic Code - First Sorcery unlocks stronger effects. The Mystic Staff of Explosive Mana Condensation and Mystic Staff of Spatial Disorientation are staff variants for specific spell lines.

Casting Steps

1. Attune with the Attuner.

2. Hold the Scroll or Mystic Code in your main hand.

3. Right-click to cast. Some spells target the block or entity you are looking at; others fire a projectile.

4. Watch your mana. If a cast fails, you are likely out of mana or not attuned.

Choosing the Right Tool

Use Scrolls when you need a one-off effect, such as Scroll of Projection for quick building or Scroll of Gandr for a ranged shot. Use Mystic Codes for repeated casting during exploration or combat. For area effects, place the matching block — Gandr, Fallen Down, Projection, Ascension, and similar — and power it through your attunement.
