Setting Up the Garden

Craft a Familiars Garden and place it in a safe, lit area. The garden is where you summon and maintain familiars. Pair it with Summon Familiar to bring a familiar into the world and Recall Familiar to teleport an existing familiar back to you.

Familiar Exchange lets you swap which familiar is bound to you. Use it when you want to change your active companion without losing progress on the current one.

Feeding and Essence

Familiars consume Fae Essence. Craft Faecake as a familiar food item. Keep a stock of Fae Essence and Faecake near the garden so you can top up your familiar between trips.

If a familiar is lost or stuck far away, use Recall Familiar. If you want to release a familiar and bind a different one, use Familiar Exchange at the garden.

Practical Tips

• Place the Familiars Garden inside your base walls so wandering familiars do not escape.
• Keep Summon Familiar and Recall Familiar in your hotbar during exploration.
• Store extra Fae Essence in a chest beside the garden.
• Use Familiar Exchange before long trips to pick the familiar best suited to the terrain.
• Combine familiar support with Presence Concealment or Protective Displacement when entering dangerous areas.
