Crafting the Five Mushroom Stews

Gathering Essence Types

Each mushroom stew in the mod requires a specific essence produced by the Essence Extractor. The five stews are Clypeus Mushroom Stew, Impetus Mushroom Stew, Morbus Mushroom Stew, Utilis Mushroom Stew, and Vivifica Mushroom Stew. Run the Extractor with the matching raw fungus to get each essence type.

Once you have the correct essence, combine it with other mod ingredients in a crafting grid. The stew recipes are either shaped or shapeless depending on the variant, so follow the recipe layout shown in the Magic Mycology Book if you are unsure of the exact arrangement.

Using the Stews

Each stew applies its own effect when consumed. Keep one of each type in your inventory if you are exploring or fighting, since different situations call for different effects. Brew them in batches — the Extractor can process multiple raw fungi in sequence, and the stews stack in your inventory.

If you run out of a specific essence, return to the Essence Extractor and feed it more of the corresponding raw fungus. Do not substitute one essence for another; the recipes are not interchangeable. Store finished stews in a dedicated chest near your crafting area so you can grab the right one quickly before heading out.
