Blind Variants

Blinds are slatted covers that sit over a window opening. Wood Blinds include Acacia Blinds, Birch Blinds, Cherry Blinds, Crimson Blinds, and Dark Oak Blinds. Match the Blind to the window frame material so the slats align with the surrounding planks.

Covering a Window with Blinds

Place a Blind in the same block space as a window or directly in front of it to cover the opening. Use one Blind per window block. For a wide Four Pane Window, place a row of Blinds across the top of the opening to suggest a partially lowered blind, leaving the lower panes visible. Combine Blinds with a Curtain Rod and Curtain above for a layered treatment, or pair a Blind with a Shutter on each side. Keep the wall around the window in the matching planks or stone so the Blind reads as part of the frame rather than a floating panel.
