How to Install Rain Gutters and Downspouts

Gutter Pieces

Rain Gutters run along the eave of a roof. Base Rain Gutter is the neutral option. Colored variants include Black Rain Gutter. Place gutters at the lowest edge of your slope, directly under the last row of Steep Base Roof or Lower Base Roof pieces.

Downspouts

Black Rain Gutter Downspout is the vertical piece that carries water from the gutter down the wall. Place it directly below a Black Rain Gutter block, then stack additional downspouts downward until you reach the ground or a drainage point.

Placement Steps

1. Finish the roof slope with Steep Base Roof or Lower Base Roof.

2. Place a row of Rain Gutter along the eave, matching the roof material color if you want it to blend.

3. At one end of the gutter run, place a Downspout.

4. Stack Downspouts vertically down the wall.

Material Notes

Base Rain Gutter pairs with Base Roof and Base Roof Block builds. Black Rain Gutter and Black Rain Gutter Downspout pair with Black Roof, Black Roof Block, and Black Roof Slab. If your roof uses a different color family, use the matching gutter color so the eave line stays consistent.
