How to Craft a Basic Wood Furniture Set

Start With the Core Pieces

Every wood type in the mod follows the same pattern, so pick one wood — Acacia, Birch, or Cherry — and stay consistent. Begin with the simplest blocks: Acacia Chair, Acacia Table, and Acacia Stool. These use only planks and sticks in shaped recipes, so they are the cheapest entry point. Once you have those, craft an Acacia Coffee Table and an Acacia End Table to round out a living room layout.

Expand Into Storage and Counters

After the basics, move to storage furniture. An Acacia Drawer, Acacia Large Drawer, and Acacia Double Drawer give you increasing inventory space per block. For kitchen builds, craft an Acacia Counter, an Acacia Kitchen Cabinet, and an Acacia Kitchen Sink. If you want glass-front storage, use the Acacia Glass Kitchen Cabinet instead of the solid one. Desks come in three variants — Acacia Desk, Acacia Covered Desk, and Acacia Modern Desk — so choose based on whether you want an open or covered top.

Match the Wood Type

Swap the prefix to Birch or Cherry to build the same set in a different color. Every recipe is shaped, so keep planks of a single wood type in the grid to avoid mixed outputs. Build the full set for one room before starting a second wood type to keep your material costs predictable.
