Crafting Couches and Chaises for Living Rooms

Pick a Colour

Couches and chaises come in Black, Blue and Brown. Each colour has a Couch and a Chaise variant: Black Couch, Black Chaise, Blue Couch, Blue Chaise, Brown Couch, Brown Chaise. These are crafting_shaped recipes — check the recipe book in your crafting table for the exact layout.

Place a Couch

Place a Couch against a wall or in the centre of a room. Couches are wide seating blocks. Use multiple Couches in a row for a longer sofa.

Add a Chaise

A Chaise is a longer reclining seat. Place it at an angle to a Couch to form an L-shaped seating area. Mix colours or keep them matching.

Complete the Room

Pair your seating with an Acacia Coffee Table in front of the Couch. Add an Acacia End Table at each end. Place an Acacia Bookshelf or Acacia Cupboard Bookshelf against the wall. Use Acacia Drawer or Acacia Double Drawer for remote controls and small items. For a bedroom corner, swap the Couch for a Chaise and add an Acacia Wardrobe nearby. All wood furniture in the room can be crafted from Acacia Planks, Birch Planks or Cherry Planks to match your build.
