How to Craft Metal Fences and Their Gates

The mod includes many metal fence designs: Acorn Metal Fence, Bastion Metal Fence, Cathedral Metal Fence, Curved Metal Fence, Double Curved Metal Fence, Expanded Mesh Metal Fence, Fortress Metal Fence, Gothic Metal Fence, Guardian Metal Fence, and Majestic Metal Fence Gate. Each has a distinct silhouette, from the open Curved Metal Fence to the dense Expanded Mesh Metal Fence.

Crafting the Fence

Metal fences use shaped crafting recipes. Gather the metal ingredient required by the recipe and arrange it in the crafting grid in the fence pattern. Bastion Metal Fence also has a matching Bastion Metal Fence Gate, and Curved Metal Fence has a Curved Metal Fence Gate, so craft the gate alongside the fence if you want a matching entrance.

Using Metal Fences in Builds

Place metal fences as railings, balcony edges, or prison-style barriers. Because they connect to adjacent fence blocks, you can run a continuous line of Curved Metal Fence and drop in a Curved Metal Fence Gate for access. For heavier fortifications, combine Fortress Metal Fence or Bastion Metal Fence with Bastion Metal Fence Gate. For decorative ironwork, use Gothic Metal Fence or Cathedral Metal Fence along a walkway. Mix styles along one build by swapping sections, since all metal fences share the same placement and connection behaviour.
