How to Craft a Classic Door in Macaw's Doors Mod

Gather Your Materials

The Classic Door is the base door style in Macaw's Doors Mod. You need planks matching the wood type you want, plus the standard door ingredients. The Classic Door Print is the key item that defines this door style, so make sure you have it before starting.

Crafting Steps

1. Place your chosen planks in the crafting grid in the standard door pattern (two columns of three planks each, leaving the middle column empty).

2. Add the Classic Door Print to the recipe.

3. Collect the resulting Classic Door for your wood type — for example, Acacia Classic Door, Birch Classic Door, or Crimson Classic Door.

Using Your Door

Once crafted, place the Classic Door like any vanilla door. It occupies two blocks vertically and opens with a right-click. You can pair it with matching trapdoors or fences for a consistent build. If you want a different look, swap the Classic Door Print for another print such as the Cottage Door Print or Beach Door Print to produce that variant instead. Each print corresponds to one door family, and the wood type determines the final block name.
