Barn Door Basics

Barn Doors are wide, rustic doors suited to farms and warehouses. Macaw's Doors Mod provides Barn Door and Barn Glassed Door variants for most wood types, including Acacia, Bamboo, Birch, Cherry, and Crimson.

Recipe Steps

1. Gather planks of your chosen wood.

2. Add the Barn Door print to the shaped crafting recipe.

3. Craft the Barn Door — for example Acacia Barn Door or Crimson Barn Door.

For the glassed version, use the Barn Glassed Door print and include glass in the recipe. This yields blocks like Acacia Barn Glassed Door, Bamboo Barn Glassed Door, or Birch Barn Glassed Door.

Placement and Use

Barn Doors are two blocks tall and open with a right-click. Place them at the front of animal sheds, storage buildings, or workshops. The glassed variant lets you see inside without opening the door, which is useful for checking animals or mobs.

Pairing with Other Blocks

Combine Barn Doors with Stable Doors for a full farm entrance. Use Barn Glassed Doors on side walls for light. Match the wood type to your fences and trapdoors so the build looks consistent. If you want a more decorative look, try the Cottage Door or Four Panel Door in the same wood.
