Crafting Rail Bridges and Balustrade Bridges

Rail Bridges

Rail Bridge blocks combine a walkable deck with a railing in a single block. The wooden Rail Bridge variants are Acacia Rail Bridge, Birch Rail Bridge, Cherry Rail Bridge, Crimson Rail Bridge, Dark Oak Rail Bridge, Jungle Rail Bridge, and Mangrove Rail Bridge. Use these when you want a fenced walkway without placing separate fence posts along the edge.

Build them the same way as a plain bridge: lay Rail Bridge blocks for the deck, add the matching Bridge Stair at each end, and place Bridge Support blocks underneath. The railing is part of the deck block, so you do not need extra fence.

Balustrade Bridges

Balustrade bridges are the stone equivalent, with a carved railing edge. Options include Balustrade Andesite Bridge, Balustrade Blackstone Bridge, Balustrade Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Cobblestone Bridge, Balustrade Deepslate Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Deepslate Tiles Bridge, Balustrade Diorite Bridge, Balustrade End Stone Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Granite Bridge, Balustrade Mossy Cobblestone Bridge, Balustrade Mossy Stone Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Mud Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Nether Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Prismarine Bricks Bridge, Balustrade Red Sandstone Bridge, Balustrade Sandstone Bridge, and Balustrade Stone Bricks Bridge.

Choosing Between Them

Use Rail Bridge for wooden paths where you want a light fence. Use Balustrade for stone or brick bridges where you want a heavier, decorative rail. Both replace the plain deck block, so you still add Bridge Stair at the ends and Bridge Support or Bridge Pier underneath.
