The mod's meats can be processed three ways: smelting, smoking, and campfire_cooking. Every cooked meat in the registry has a matching raw form, so pick the method that fits your setup.

Choosing a Method

Use a furnace for steady batches when you have fuel to spare. Use a smoker when you want the faster cooking speed — it is the right station for meat. Use a campfire when you are out in the field and do not want to carry a furnace; place the raw meat over the fire and wait.

Once cooked, these meats are your standard food items. Keep a stack of Cooked Arisaur Meat or Cooked Yale Meat in your hotbar for exploration, and save the rarer cuts like Cooked Kathoga Meat or Cooked Krake Meat for when you need a bigger meal. If you are preparing for a fight, cook a full inventory's worth in one smoker session rather than cooking piece by piece at a campfire.
