How to Craft and Use Soulcubes

Crafting the Soulcubes

Soulcubes are the storage blocks for the mod's summoning and crystal materials. Two variants exist: Aberrant Soulcube and Demonic Soulcube. Both are made through the standard crafting table using their matching crystal and stone materials.

To make an Aberrant Soulcube, combine Aberrant Crystal with Aberrantstone in a shaped recipe. To make a Demonic Soulcube, combine Demon Crystal with Demonstone. The crystals themselves come from the matching crystal blocks — Aberrant Crystal and Demon Crystal — which you break in the world to obtain Crystal Shard drops and the crystal items needed for recipes.

Using Soulcubes

Place a Soulcube as a block where you want a stable anchor point for summoning or storage. Keep a stack of Crystal Shard on hand, since shards feed into crystal crafting and many charge recipes. If you are working toward summoning staffs, save your Blood Summoning Staff for the blood-themed summons and use Soulcubes as the block component in those recipes.

Soulcubes also pair well with the mod's decorative stone sets. Surround a Soulcube with Aberrantstone Brick or Demonstone Brick to build a themed altar room. Because both Soulcube types are full blocks, they can be placed in walls, floors, or pedestals without breaking your build.
