How to Craft and Use Beast Saddles

Crafting a Beast Saddle

Beast Saddle is the entry saddle for riding beast-type creatures. Combine it from materials you gather while exploring. The saddle is a shaped recipe, so arrange the ingredients in a fixed pattern on the crafting grid. Keep a Beast Treat on hand as well — you will need it to calm the creature before mounting.

Once crafted, hold the Beast Saddle and right-click the beast you want to ride. If the creature is not yet tamed, feed it a Beast Treat first by right-clicking while holding the treat. After taming, right-click again with the saddle to equip it, then right-click once more to mount.

Saddles for Other Creature Types

The mod provides a saddle for each creature family, and each is crafted and used the same way as the Beast Saddle:

• Aberration Saddle for aberrations
• Amphibian Saddle for amphibians
• Anthronian Saddle for anthronians
• Aquatic Saddle for aquatic creatures
• Arachnid Saddle for arachnids
• Avian Saddle for avians
• Demon Saddle for demons

Match the saddle to the creature family. Using the wrong saddle will not let you mount. Pair each saddle with its matching Treat — Aberration Treat, Amphibian Treat, Anthronian Treat, Aquatic Treat, Arachnid Treat, Avian Treat, or Demon Treat — to tame the creature before saddling it. Carry spare Treats on long rides in case a creature breaks free.
