The Stone Families

Four decorative stone families are available as building blocks: Aberrantstone, Ashenstone, Demonstone and Desertstone. Each family shares the same shape set, so you can mix and match without breaking style.

Every family includes the base block plus Brick, Brick Fence, Brick Slab, Brick Stairs, Brick Wall, Pillar, Slab, Stairs, Tile, Tile Slab and Tile Stairs variants. For example, Aberrantstone Brick, Aberrantstone Brick Fence, Aberrantstone Brick Slab, Aberrantstone Brick Stairs, Aberrantstone Brick Wall, Aberrantstone Pillar, Aberrantstone Slab, Aberrantstone Stairs, Aberrantstone Tile, Aberrantstone Tile Slab and Aberrantstone Tile Stairs all exist. The same pattern applies to Ashenstone, Demonstone and Desertstone.

Chiseled and Stonecutting

Each family also has a Chiseled block: Chiseled Aberrantstone, Chiseled Ashenstone, Chiseled Demonstone, Chiseled Desertstone, Chiseled Lushstone, Chiseled Shadowstone and Chiseled Streamstone. Use these as accent pieces in walls and floors.

Convert base stone into the other shapes at a stonecutter. Stonecutting recipes are present for these families, so you can turn one Aberrantstone into slabs, stairs, tiles or bricks without a crafting table. Bring a stack of base stone to the stonecutter and cycle through the shape options to get exactly the pieces your build needs.
