Building with Aberrantstone and Ashenstone

Cutting Stone into Building Blocks

Aberrantstone and Ashenstone are the two stone families with the widest block range. Mine the base stone, then process it at a stonecutter to get the full set of shapes without wasting material. Each family follows the same pattern of variants.

From Aberrantstone you can cut:

• Aberrantstone Slab, Stairs, and Pillar
• Aberrantstone Brick, plus Brick Slab, Brick Stairs, Brick Fence, and Brick Wall
• Aberrantstone Tile, plus Tile Slab and Tile Stairs
• Chiseled Aberrantstone

From Ashenstone you can cut:

• Ashenstone Slab, Stairs, and Pillar
• Ashenstone Brick, plus Brick Slab, Brick Stairs, Brick Fence, and Brick Wall
• Ashenstone Tile, plus Tile Slab and Tile Stairs
• Chiseled Ashenstone

Other Stone Families

The same layout applies to Demonstone, Desertstone, Lushstone, Shadowstone, and Streamstone. Demonstone and Desertstone have the full Brick, Tile, Pillar, Slab, Stairs, Fence, and Wall sets, plus Chiseled Demonstone and Chiseled Desertstone. Lushstone, Shadowstone, and Streamstone provide Chiseled variants.

Use a stonecutter for every conversion — it yields more blocks per input than crafting-table recipes. Combine Brick Fences and Brick Walls with Brick Stairs and Slabs to build walls, paths, and roofs that match each biome's stone.
