How the Pack Changes Your Trees

Lush Grass Leaves automatically applies 3D layering to all leaf blocks in your world. When you load the pack, every tree—whether from vanilla Minecraft or modded trees using standard leaf types—will gain extra depth and fullness without you needing to do anything.

What to Expect

Once active, leaf blocks will display multiple 3D model layers instead of flat surfaces. This creates a noticeably thicker canopy that looks more natural and forest-like. The effect works on:

• All standard leaf block types
• Trees from mods that use vanilla leaf blocks
• Mixed forests with multiple tree types

Optimizing Your View

To see the bushier effect most clearly, stand at ground level looking up into tree canopies, or view forests from a distance. The layering becomes more apparent when leaves overlap. If you're using another resource pack for textures, Lush Grass Leaves will layer on top of it without conflicts, so your favorite colors and textures remain unchanged—only the 3D shape improves.

The pack handles rendering efficiently, so the added visual detail shouldn't noticeably impact your frame rate.
