Adjust Shader Settings for Better Performance

Access the Shader Menu

Press the shader settings hotkey (default: K) while in-game to open the Lunaris Shaders configuration panel. This menu lets you fine-tune visual quality to match your hardware.

Key Settings to Adjust

Shadow Quality: Lower this if you experience frame drops. Reducing shadow resolution maintains the soft block shadow effect while improving performance.

Water Reflections: Toggle or reduce reflection detail if playing on lower-end systems. The shader will still render smooth waving water, but with fewer reflected objects.

Sun Ray Intensity: Dial back the volumetric sun rays if they cause stuttering during bright daylight. This won't remove them—just makes them less demanding.

Sky Effects: Storm and night sky enhancements can be reduced independently without affecting daytime clarity.

Save Your Configuration

Changes apply immediately. Most settings persist between sessions, so adjust once and explore freely. Test your frame rate in different environments—caves, open sky, and water areas—to find your ideal balance between visual depth and smooth gameplay.
