Adjust Lighting Brightness in Caves and Underground

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your controls settings or shader menu). Look for the LumenLite Shaders configuration panel.

Modify Cave Lighting

Locate the brightness or ambient light slider. This controls how much light reaches dark underground areas. Increase the value if caves feel too dark for comfortable exploration, or decrease it if you prefer a more challenging atmosphere.

You can also adjust the "night brightness" setting separately to control moonlit and starlit environments without affecting cave visibility.

Fine-Tune Shadow Softness

If shadows appear too harsh or too washed out, find the shadow softness or blur radius option. Higher values create gentler shadows that blend smoothly across terrain, while lower values produce sharper, more defined shadows.

Save and Test

Apply your changes and explore different biomes and times of day. Revisit the settings if the lighting still doesn't match your preference. Small adjustments often make a noticeable difference in gameplay comfort.
