Adjust Lighting Brightness and Color Intensity

Access Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options, though the exact path depends on your launcher.

Modify Light Output

Look for sliders or toggles related to:

  • Light Brightness: Controls how bright colored light sources appear overall
  • Color Saturation: Adjusts how vivid the colored tints from torches and lanterns look
  • Night Brightness: Increases or decreases ambient lighting in dark caves and at night

Fine-Tune for Your Preference

Start with default values, then make small adjustments. If caves feel too dark, increase night brightness. If torch light feels oversaturated, reduce color intensity. Changes apply immediately, so you can see results in real-time.

Save Your Configuration

Once satisfied, your settings save automatically. They persist across game sessions unless you reset to defaults.

Note: Exact slider names and available options vary—check your specific shader version's menu for precise control names.
