Smelting and Forging with the Arcane Furnace and Arcane Forge

The Arcane Furnace and Arcane Forge handle the mod's smelting and forging steps. Both are separate blocks and both must be crafted before use.

Arcane Furnace

Craft the Arcane Furnace at the Arcane Workbench, then place it. It processes the mod's smelting recipes (the smelting recipe type present in the mod). Feed it the input item and a fuel source the same way you would a vanilla furnace. Use it for any lordcraft material that needs heat treatment before it can be worked further.

Arcane Forge

Craft the Arcane Forge at the Arcane Workbench and place it near your furnace. The Forge is where you produce the mod's forged gear and components. Bring the smelted outputs from the Arcane Furnace to the Forge.

Workflow

1. Mine and gather raw materials.

2. Smelt them in the Arcane Furnace.

3. Move the smelted results to the Arcane Forge.

4. Forge the components you need for tools, armor, and ritual items.

Placement

Keep the Arcane Furnace, Arcane Forge, Arcane Basin, and Arcane Workbench within a few blocks of each other. This reduces travel time between the four stations and keeps your processing line compact.
