How to Craft and Use the Arcane Workbench

The Arcane Workbench is the entry point for most Lord Craft crafting. Place it down and right-click to open its interface.

Crafting the Arcane Workbench

Use a shaped crafting recipe at a vanilla crafting table. Combine the ingredients the mod expects for the basic workbench tier — once crafted, place the Arcane Workbench block in the world.

Using It

Open the Arcane Workbench to access lordcraft:crafting_shaped and lordcraft:crafting_shapeless recipes. These are the recipes that produce mod items such as the Arcane Bow, Arcane Mirror, Arcane Splitter, Arcane Furnace, Arcane Forge, Arcane Basin, and the tiered tools (Axe Basic, Axe Air, Axe Dark, Axe Earth, Axe Fire, Axe Light, Axe Water, Axe Pure).

If a recipe does not appear in a vanilla crafting table, it is almost certainly a lordcraft recipe and must be made here.

Upgrading

When you have the materials, craft the Advanced Arcane Workbench. It is a separate block and unlocks the higher-tier lordcraft recipes. Keep the basic Arcane Workbench until you have confirmed the Advanced one is placed and functional.

Tips

• Keep the Arcane Workbench near your Arcane Forge and Arcane Furnace so you can move between crafting, smelting, and forging without walking far.
• Many lordcraft recipes are shapeless; do not worry about grid arrangement for those.
