How to Stop Loot Chests from Emptying for Other Players

What Lootr Changes

Every Loot Chest, Loot Barrel, Loot Shulker, Decorated Loot Pot, and Copper Loot Chest (including Exposed, Weathered, and Oxidized variants) tracks loot per player. When you open one, you see your own roll of the loot table. Another player opening the same block sees theirs. The block does not become empty just because someone else got there first.

Checking and Using This

Break a Loot Chest and place it again: the per-player state resets for that block, so you can re-roll your own view. This is useful when you want to confirm the chest is working — if you see items on your first open and different items after replacing it, per-player tracking is active.

If a chest appears empty to you, it is because you already looted that specific block. Move to a different Loot Chest, Loot Barrel, or Loot Shulker nearby. Do not assume the structure is picked clean; each container holds its own state.

Loot Shulkers behave the same way and can be moved with their contents intact like a normal shulker box, but the loot inside is still keyed to whoever opens it.

When It Looks Broken

If every player sees the same empty container, the block was likely placed by a player rather than generated by the world. Player-placed Lootr containers do not roll loot tables. Only naturally generated ones do.
