Fixing Lootr When Chests Show Nothing or the Wrong Loot

First Checks

Open a Loot Chest you have never touched. If it shows items, the mod is functioning and the earlier empty chest was simply one you had already looted. Each Loot Chest, Loot Barrel, Loot Shulker, Decorated Loot Pot, and Copper Loot Chest variant tracks your personal loot state separately from other players.

If a container is empty on your very first open, check whether it was placed by a player. Player-placed Lootr containers do not generate loot. Only naturally generated ones roll a loot table. Break and replace a chest to reset your view of it, then open again to confirm.

Structures and Containers to Test

Test across container types, not just one. Try a Loot Barrel, a Loot Shulker, and a Decorated Loot Pot in the same area. If all of them behave per-player, the mod is working and the problem is a specific block.

Gravel and Sand appear in the registry alongside the loot containers. If you are checking whether a structure generated correctly, confirm the surrounding Gravel and Sand are present as expected before blaming the loot blocks.

What Not to Expect

There are no commands to force-refill a container. The Centennial Trophy is decorative and does not store or dispense loot. If a container still misbehaves after these checks, the block itself is the issue — replace it and retest rather than searching for a config toggle.
