Crafting and Placing Copper Loot Chests Through Every Oxidation Stage

The Four Copper Variants

The Copper Loot Chest comes in four states: Copper Loot Chest, Exposed Copper Loot Chest, Weathered Copper Loot Chest, and Oxidized Copper Loot Chest. These mirror normal copper oxidation, so the same logic that ages copper blocks applies here.

Progression and Use

Start with a Copper Loot Chest. Over time, or when exposed to the conditions that oxidize copper, it advances to Exposed, then Weathered, then Oxidized. Each stage is its own block and keeps the per-player loot behavior — opening any of the four gives you your own roll.

If you want a specific stage immediately, obtain the block in that state rather than waiting. Placing an Oxidized Copper Loot Chest gives you an Oxidized one; it will not revert.

Use the visual stage as a build cue. A row of Copper Loot Chests aging toward Oxidized Copper Loot Chests reads as an old, weathered vault. Mix stages in one room to suggest different ages of the same structure.

Decorated Loot Pot and Centennial Trophy

For non-chest decoration, the Decorated Loot Pot is a loot container in pot form and follows the same per-player rule. The Centennial Trophy is a distinct block for marking a spot or commemorating a build — place it where you want a focal point rather than as storage.
