Set Up Custom Item Highlighting with Color Codes

Create Your Custom Item Set

Custom item sets let you define exactly which items should glow, alert you, or display special markers. Start by entering a creative world and placing the items you want to track into your inventory.

Apply Tags and Colors

Take each item to an anvil and rename it with custom tags:

  • Add noBeam to prevent light beams from appearing above that item when dropped
  • Use noHotbar to stop hotbar alerts for that item
  • Add noInv to hide inventory highlights
  • Include a quantity number (like 64 or 32) to set supply thresholds
  • Use hex color codes (like #FF5733) to change the beam color for visual organization

You can combine multiple tags in a single item name.

Save and Activate

Once your inventory is configured, type /LootMate customsets add <name> in chat to save this as a reusable custom item set. Load it anytime you want to use those same highlighting rules across different worlds or playthroughs.
