Remove Stubs from Specific Logs
Stripping Logs
The quickest way to remove stubs from a log block is to strip it. Use an axe on any log with stubs to convert it into a stripped log variant. Stripped logs will never display stubs, giving you a clean, uniform appearance for custom builds or interior decoration.
Converting to Wood Blocks
Alternatively, craft your stubbed logs into their corresponding wood block (the all-bark variant). Place four logs of the same type in a 2×2 pattern in your crafting grid to create one wood block. These blocks have bark on all sides and will not generate stubs, making them ideal for finished structures where you want a polished look.
Selective Removal
If you only want to remove stubs from certain trees in your world, selectively strip or convert only those logs while leaving others natural. This approach lets you maintain visual variety—keep stubs on wild trees for authenticity while cleaning up logs near your base or in landscaped areas.
