Enhance Water Reflections
Access Reflection Settings
Open the LiteMc Shaders configuration menu from your video settings. Find the water or reflection section of the options panel.
Adjust Reflection Parameters
Look for these common reflection controls:
- Reflection quality or detail level: Higher settings show more accurate reflections of the sky, trees, and buildings in water surfaces.
- Reflection distance: Controls how far reflections extend across water. Increase this to see reflections from distant objects.
- Water clarity or transparency: Adjust how much you can see through water versus how much reflects off the surface.
Fine-Tune for Your Preference
Navigate to a large body of water—ocean, lake, or river—and observe how sky and landscape reflect. Increase reflection quality if reflections look blurry or incomplete. If reflections cause frame rate drops, reduce the quality or distance settings.
Test during different times of day. Sunset and sunrise often show reflections most dramatically, while night reflections should appear subtle. Adjust settings until reflections feel natural and match your performance needs.
