Making Glowstone Variants for Lamps

Gather Noble Gas Dusts

Each colored glowstone variant uses a specific gas dust. Collect the following:

• Argon Dust
• Krypton Dust
• Neon Dust
• Radon Dust
• Xenon Dust

These come from processing raw gas materials. Store each dust separately so you do not mix them up when crafting.

Craft the Glowstone Blocks

Combine each dust with glowstone to produce its matching block:

• Argon Dust → Argon Glowstone
• Krypton Dust → Krypton Glowstone
• Neon Dust → Neon Glowstone
• Radon Dust → Radon Glowstone
• Xenon Dust → Xenon Glowstone

Each glowstone block is a distinct light source with its own tint. Use them as-is for decoration or as ingredients in tube and lamp recipes.

Piles and Tubes

Gas dusts also compress into Argon Pile, Krypton Pile, Neon Pile, Radon Pile, and Xenon Pile. From piles you can craft Argon Tube, Krypton Tube, Neon Tube, Radon Tube, and Xenon Tube, which in turn become Argon Tube Block, Krypton Tube Block, Neon Tube Block, Radon Tube Block, and Xenon Tube Block. Tubes give a linear, industrial look; glowstone gives a soft blocky glow.
