Starting From Dust

Lanthanum begins as Lanthanum Dust. This is the base material for the entire Lanthanum line, which feeds into mesh-based crafting used by several lamp recipes.

Dust to Ingot to Nugget

Smelt Lanthanum Dust into a Lanthanum Ingot. From the ingot you can break it down into Lanthanum Nuggets, or combine materials into Lanthanum Pile. Keep all three forms — Dust, Ingot, Nugget, Pile — organized separately, because different recipes call for different forms and they are not interchangeable.

Making Lanthanum Mesh

Lanthanum Mesh is the key crafted output of this chain. It is used alongside other mesh types in lamp construction. Craft it once you have the ingots ready, and store the mesh near your lamp-crafting station rather than near the raw materials.

Netherite Mesh

Netherite Mesh is a separate, higher-tier mesh. It is not made from Lanthanum — treat it as its own material and reserve it for the lamp recipes that specifically require it. Do not substitute Lanthanum Mesh where Netherite Mesh is called for.

Workflow Order

Process Dust into Ingots first, then decide per recipe whether you need Nuggets, Pile, or Mesh. Crafting Mesh in bulk saves trips, but only if you know how many lamps you are building. If you are experimenting with a single lamp, craft one Mesh at a time to avoid wasting ingots.
