Crafting Decorative and Specialty Light Blocks

Transparent and Tinted Blocks

Several blocks exist purely for looks:

• Glowing Glass — glass that emits light.
• Clear Lamp and Clear Sea Lantern — transparent lamp variants.
• Vanta Black — a deep, light-absorbing block for contrast.

Craft Glowing Glass from glass combined with a light-emitting ingredient. Use it in windows and skylights where you want illumination without an opaque fixture.

Water-Themed Lanterns

For ocean builds, craft the lantern family:

• Ocean Lantern
• Deep Ocean Lantern
• Deep Sea Lantern
• Clear Sea Lantern
• Abyssal Lantern

These share materials with the standard lamp chain but produce cooler, water-toned light. Pair them with Glowing Glass panels for underwater bases.

Curtains and Fruit

Curtain is a hanging decorative block — place it along walls or doorways for a soft divider. Lamp Fruit is a light-emitting block that also reads as organic decoration; grow or craft it and place it on ceilings for a natural glow.

Mixing Materials

Many of these blocks reuse Lanthanum Dust, Lanthanum Ingot, and gas dusts. Before a big decorative build, gather a shared stockpile so you are not stopping mid-placement to craft more Lanthanum Nugget or Glass Tube.
