Crafting and Placing Decorative Lamps

The Lamp Family

The mod provides a large set of lamps named with Greek letters and descriptive terms: Alpha Lamp, Beta Lamp, Gamma Lamp, Delta Lamp, Epsilon Lamp, Zeta Lamp, Eta Lamp, Omega Lamp, Clear Lamp, Anti-Lamp, Alchemical Lamp, Ocean Lantern, Deep Ocean Lantern, Deep Sea Lantern, Clear Sea Lantern, and Abyssal Lantern. Each is a placeable light block. Craft the ones you want from your stock of Lanthanum materials, gas dusts, Glowstone variants, and Tubes — check the recipe book for the exact inputs of each lamp.

Specialty Lamps and Lanterns

Some lamps use themed materials. Alchemical Lamp pairs with Alchemical Dust. Ocean Lantern, Deep Ocean Lantern, Deep Sea Lantern, Clear Sea Lantern, and Abyssal Lantern form a water-themed set — craft them if you are lighting an underwater or coastal build. Clear Lamp and Anti-Lamp are distinct from the Greek-letter series; craft them separately. Vanta Black is a block in the same registry and is useful when you want the opposite of a lamp — a non-reflective dark surface next to your light sources.

Other Decorative Blocks

Glowing Glass, Curtain, and Lamp Fruit are additional placeable blocks. Lamp Fruit is grown or crafted as a light-emitting plant-like block. Curtain is a decorative block for interiors. Glowing Glass lets light through while still reading as glass. Place your lamps alongside Vanta Black and Glowing Glass to control contrast in a room. Keep a chest of finished lamps near your build site so you can swap styles without returning to your crafting area.
