Building Colored Lamps from Tubes and Glowstone

Pick Your Color Family

Each colored lamp line follows the same shape: Dust → Glowstone → Tube → Tube Block, with a matching Lamp at the end. The color families available are Argon, Krypton, Neon, Xenon, and Radon. Choose one family and complete its chain before starting another, so you are not juggling five dust types at once.

The Chain Step by Step

1. Obtain the Dust (Argon Dust, Krypton Dust, Neon Dust, Xenon Dust, or Radon Dust).

2. Process it into the matching Glowstone (Argon Glowstone, Krypton Glowstone, Neon Glowstone, Xenon Glowstone, Radon Glowstone).

3. Craft the matching Tube (Argon Tube, Krypton Tube, Neon Tube, Xenon Tube, Radon Tube).

4. Combine Tubes into the matching Tube Block (Argon Tube Block, Krypton Tube Block, Neon Tube Block, Xenon Tube Block, Radon Tube Block).

Where Lamps Fit In

Lamps are the finished light sources. The named lamp blocks include Alpha Lamp, Beta Lamp, Gamma Lamp, Delta Lamp, Epsilon Lamp, Zeta Lamp, Eta Lamp, and Omega Lamp, plus Clear Lamp and Alchemical Lamp. These are distinct blocks — check the recipe for the specific lamp you want rather than assuming any tube block will substitute.

Storage Advice

Keep each color family in its own chest row: Dust, Glowstone, Tube, Tube Block. When you move to lamp crafting, you will pull from multiple families at once, and separated storage prevents mis-crafting a Tube Block from the wrong Glowstone.
