Five Tiers, Five Items

Library Ferret's entire registry is five coins: Iron Coin, Gold Coin, Emerald Coin, Diamond Coin, and Netherite Coin. There is no sixth tier and no separate currency block, so the tier list is simply these five names.

Reading the Tier Order

Order them by the rarity of their source material:

• Iron Coin — lowest tier, iron is abundant.
• Gold Coin — next step up, gold is common but less so than iron.
• Emerald Coin — mid tier, gated behind villager trading or mountain mining.
• Diamond Coin — high tier, requires diamond gear-level mining.
• Netherite Coin — highest tier, requires netherite and the Nether.

How to Climb the Tiers

1. Start by producing Iron Coin and Gold Coin from early-game materials.

2. Move to Emerald Coin once you have a steady emerald supply.

3. Push into Diamond Coin when diamond mining is routine.

4. Finish with Netherite Coin, which sits at the top because netherite is the rarest input.

Why the Order Matters

Because each coin is a standalone registry item, you cannot skip a tier by upgrading a lower coin in place. You produce each coin from its own matching material. Plan your mining and trading around the specific tier you are targeting, and keep the higher coins — Diamond Coin and Netherite Coin — set aside once crafted.
