How to Get Started with Library Ferret
Confirm the Mod Is Loaded
Library Ferret registers no items or blocks of its own. That means you will not find a "Library Ferret" tab in the creative inventory, and you will not see any new entries when you search the recipe book. If you are looking for the mod in-game and cannot find it, that is expected behavior, not a failed install.
What This Means for Your World
Because the registry is empty, there is nothing to craft, place, or collect from this mod directly. You do not need to gather materials, follow a progression tree, or unlock anything. Any gameplay you experience comes from other mods that depend on Library Ferret being present.
Practical Steps
1. Launch the game with Library Ferret installed alongside the mods that require it.
2. Open a world and check that those dependent mods load without a missing-dependency error.
3. If a dependent mod fails to load, verify Library Ferret is in the same mod loader environment (for example, NeoForge) as the dependent mod.
4. Do not search the creative menu or JEI for Library Ferret entries — there are none to find.
When Something Looks Wrong
If a dependent mod's content is missing, the issue is almost always with that mod, not with Library Ferret. Library Ferret only needs to be present and loaded; it does not add anything you can interact with directly.
