Adjust Leaf Litter Opacity and Blending
Modify Transparency Settings
The Leaf Litter Recolor pack uses standard texture files, but you can adjust how leaves blend with the ground:
1. Navigate to your resource pack's assets/minecraft/textures/block folder
2. Open a leaf litter texture file in an image editor
3. Reduce the opacity of the texture layer to make leaves appear more translucent, revealing more grass beneath
4. Alternatively, increase opacity to make fallen leaves more opaque and prominent
5. Adjust the texture's edges using feathering or soft brushes to create smoother blending with surrounding blocks
6. Save as PNG to preserve transparency data
7. Reload the pack in-game
Test Visual Impact
Walk through forests and observe how the adjusted opacity affects the overall appearance. More transparent leaves create a lighter forest floor that shows grass clearly, while opaque leaves create a thicker carpet effect. Find the balance that matches your desired aesthetic for natural-looking woodland areas.
