Identify Sheared Pokémon by Their Appearance
Recognizing Visual Changes
After successfully shearing a Pokémon, its model updates immediately to reflect the harvesting action. This visual feedback helps you track which creatures you've already collected from and avoid wasting time on the same individual twice.
What to Look For
Sheared Pokémon display noticeable alterations to their appearance—typically missing or reduced visual elements that were present before. For example, crab-type Pokémon show clear changes to their shell or body structure after shearing.
When exploring an area with multiple Pokémon of the same species, compare their appearances: unsheared creatures will look complete and normal, while sheared ones will appear visibly different. This distinction is especially useful in survival mode when you need to quickly identify which Pokémon still have resources available.
The model changes are permanent for that individual creature until it despawns or you leave the area, making it easy to plan your gathering route efficiently.
