Void Tank Basics

The Void Tank destroys any fluid piped into it. Place it at the end of a fluid line or as a dedicated dump block. Connect a pipe from your tank or machine output into the Void Tank, and the fluid is removed instead of stored.

Use the Void Tank when a machine produces more fluid than you can store, when you have contaminated fluid, or when you want to keep a tank line from overflowing. It accepts fluid from any source that can output into a tank.

Combining With Storage Tanks

A common setup is a main storage line of Iron Tank or Gold Tank blocks with a branch that leads to a Void Tank. When storage fills, excess fluid flows to the Void Tank and is deleted. This keeps your primary tanks from backing up.

If you want to empty a Chest as Tank or any other tank completely, connect it to a Void Tank and let the contents drain. Once empty, disconnect the Void Tank so the tank can be refilled with a different fluid.
