Choosing Your Tank Tier

Tanks come in Wood, Stone, Copper, Tin, Iron, Lead, Silver, Gold, Bronze, Emerald, Diamond, and Star tiers, plus the Iron Reservoir, Stone Reservoir, and Wood Reservoir. Higher tiers hold more fluid. Start with Wood Tank or Stone Tank for early storage, then upgrade to Iron Tank or Gold Tank as your fluid production grows.

Place tanks side by side or stacked. Adjacent tanks of the same fluid type share their contents, so a wall of Iron Tanks acts as one large buffer. Keep different fluids in separate lines to avoid mixing.

Connecting Inputs and Outputs

Feed fluid in with pipes, buckets, or machines that output fluid. Withdraw fluid the same way. If you want a single block that always provides fluid without running dry, use the Infinite Fluid Supplier as the source and pipe from it into your tank line.

For large builds, run a main line of Diamond Tank or Emerald Tank blocks and branch smaller tanks off it. Use the Star Tank when you need the highest capacity in a single block.

To discard excess fluid, terminate a line with a Void Tank. Anything piped into the Void Tank is deleted, which keeps your storage from overflowing. The Creative Tank is available when you need an unlimited supply for testing or creative builds.
