Survive Your First Panic Event
Prepare Before the Timer Starts
Panic events are timed defense scenarios where zombie waves intensify rapidly. Before one triggers, ensure your team is grouped in a defensible room with clear sightlines. Stock up on ammunition and medical supplies from nearby crates. Assign roles: designate one player as the primary healer and others as shooters.
Execute During the Event
When the panic timer begins, focus on controlled fire rather than spraying bullets. Use your flashlight to track incoming zombies in dark areas—they often emerge from vents and ceiling gaps. Prioritize targets closest to your team first. If a teammate gets knocked down, revive them immediately; a downed player cannot contribute to defense.
Manage your weapon reloads strategically. Don't reload when zombies are actively attacking—use melee shoves to create breathing room instead. Position yourself near exits to prevent zombies from flanking your group. Share health kits with teammates whose health is critical. Stay mobile but don't scatter; separated players are easier targets for the swarms.
