Use Your Flashlight Effectively

Vent shafts are among the darkest areas in the facility. Always keep your flashlight toggled on when entering these zones. The beam reveals both zombie positions and environmental hazards like gaps or debris. Move slowly through narrow passages and sweep your light ahead before advancing.

Watch for Ambushes

Zombies frequently drop from above in vent systems. Listen for audio cues and watch the ceiling. When you hear movement above, alert your team and prepare to shove incoming threats. Avoid standing directly under open vent grates. If possible, move through vents as a group so teammates can cover multiple angles.

Keep grenades ready for tight spaces where multiple zombies converge. The confined nature of vents makes grenades particularly effective for clearing clusters. If a teammate gets separated in a vent, establish a rally point and regroup before continuing deeper into the facility.
