Customize Sunrise and Sunset Colors
Open Time-of-Day Settings
Access the Kolor Shaders configuration menu and locate sections for sunrise, sunset, or twilight color adjustments. These are often grouped separately from general color settings.
Adjust Warm Tones
During sunrise and sunset, increase warm color values (reds, oranges, yellows) to intensify the golden hour effect. This makes the sky and landscape glow with natural dawn or dusk light. Experiment with intensity to avoid oversaturation.
Balance Sky and Landscape
Some shaders allow separate control over sky color versus terrain color during these times. Warm the sky more dramatically while keeping terrain slightly cooler to maintain visual balance and prevent the entire world from looking washed out.
Control Transition Speed
If available, adjust how quickly colors transition between day and night phases. Slower transitions feel more natural and cinematic; faster transitions create a more stylized effect.
Test Across Multiple Days
Play through several in-game days and observe sunrise and sunset from different locations—high ground, water, forests. This reveals how your color choices interact with terrain and helps you fine-tune for maximum visual impact.
