Smithing Transform Recipes: Turning Templates into Kobold Iron Gear

How smithing_transform Works Here

The mod contains six smithing_transform recipes. Each one pairs a Smithing Template with a base item to output one finished Kobold Iron piece. The six outputs are:

• Kobold Iron Axe
• Kobold Iron Hoe
• Kobold Iron Pickaxe
• Kobold Iron Shovel
• Kobold Iron Spear
• Kobold Iron Sword

Running a Transform

1. Place a smithing table.

2. Insert a Smithing Template into the template slot.

3. Insert the base item required by the recipe into the base slot.

4. Add any additional ingredient the recipe calls for.

5. Take the finished Kobold Iron item from the output slot.

Each transform consumes one Smithing Template, so the number of templates you hold directly caps how many pieces of Kobold Iron gear you can make.

Planning Your Set

Decide which pieces you actually need before you start. A Pickaxe, Axe, and Shovel cover most gathering; a Sword and Spear cover combat; a Hoe covers farming. That is six transforms and therefore six Smithing Templates.

Because the Smithing Template is the only item made by the mod's single crafting_shaped recipe, your entire progression runs through it: craft templates, then spend them at the smithing table.
