Kobold Iron Spear and Sword: Building Your Combat Kit

The Two Weapons

The mod includes two combat items: the Kobold Iron Sword and the Kobold Iron Spear. Both are produced by smithing_transform recipes, not by normal crafting. Neither one can be made at a crafting table.

Making Each Weapon

1. Craft a Smithing Template using the mod's single crafting_shaped recipe.

2. Place a smithing table.

3. Run the smithing_transform recipe for the Kobold Iron Sword, using one Smithing Template and the required base item.

4. Repeat the process with a second Smithing Template for the Kobold Iron Spear.

Two weapons means two Smithing Templates. If you also want the Kobold Iron Axe, Hoe, Pickaxe, and Shovel, you need six templates total, since all six gear pieces draw on the same six smithing_transform recipes.

Managing Materials

Keep a stack of Smithing Templates ready before a fight or a mining trip so you can replace or expand your kit without stopping to craft more. Store finished weapons separately from templates so you always know how many transforms remain available.

Because the Sword and Spear share the same production path as the tools, there is no separate progression branch — every Kobold Iron item starts with a Smithing Template and ends at a smithing table.
