How to Craft the Kobold Iron Tools and Weapons

What You Need

Every Kobold Iron item is produced through a smithing_transform recipe. The seven registry entries are: Kobold Iron Axe, Kobold Iron Hoe, Kobold Iron Pickaxe, Kobold Iron Shovel, Kobold Iron Spear, Kobold Iron Sword, and Smithing Template.

The Smithing Template is the key ingredient that drives the transformation. You need one Smithing Template per item you want to create, plus the base item being transformed.

Crafting Steps

1. Obtain a Smithing Template. This is the only item in the mod produced by a crafting_shaped recipe.

2. Place your Smithing Template and the base item into a smithing table following the smithing_transform recipe layout.

3. Complete the transform to receive the corresponding Kobold Iron item.

There are six smithing_transform recipes total, matching the six Kobold Iron gear pieces: Axe, Hoe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Spear, and Sword. Each one consumes a Smithing Template.

Because the Smithing Template itself comes from the single crafting_shaped recipe, your progression is: gather template materials, craft the Smithing Template, then run each smithing_transform to produce the tool or weapon you want. Plan how many templates you need before you start, since each transform uses one.
