Combine Kirby Totems with Other Protective Gear

Layer Your Defenses

A Totem of Undying is a last-resort tool, not primary armor. Pair Kirby with full protective gear:

• Wear enchanted diamond or netherite armor with Protection
• Use a shield to block incoming damage
• Keep healing items (food, potions) in your hotbar

Synergize with Enchantments

Equip armor with:

• Protection IV to reduce all damage types
• Feather Falling IV to negate fall damage (so Kirby isn't wasted on falls)
• Thorns to punish melee attackers
• Mending to keep your gear repaired

Use Potions Strategically

Before dangerous encounters, drink:

• Healing potions to stay topped up
• Resistance potions to reduce incoming damage
• Strength potions to end threats faster

This reduces the chance you'll need Kirby at all.

Plan Your Escape

When Kirby activates, you get a brief window. Use it to sprint away, teleport with an Ender Pearl, or drink a healing potion. Don't rely on Kirby alone to win fights—use it to buy time and regroup.
