Using the Fire Extinguisher

Hold the Fire Extinguisher and aim at the flames. Use the item to spray and extinguish the fire in front of you. The Copper Fire Extinguisher works the same way as a handheld option when you need a second unit on hand.

Keep one on your hotbar whenever you are working near lava, campfires, or any build where fire can spread. Spraying stops the flames before they reach nearby wood, wool, or leaves.

Crafting More Extinguishers

The Fire Extinguisher and Copper Fire Extinguisher are both craftable. Use a crafting table and combine the required materials in the shaped or shapeless recipe for the version you want. Once crafted, the extinguisher is ready to use immediately — no fuel or refill step is needed.

Place a Fire Extinguisher block on a wall near high-risk areas so it is visible and easy to grab. Pair it with a Fire Extinguisher Sign above it so anyone on the server can find it fast. If a fire starts in a large room, carry the handheld extinguisher with you rather than relying only on the wall-mounted block.
