Set Up Create Mod Integration with Track and Bogey Helpers
Leveraging Create Compatibility
When used alongside Create, KasugaLib provides specialized helpers for registering custom tracks, track materials, bogeys, and behaviors. This streamlines adding custom train content.
Steps
1. Create your custom track or bogey class extending Create's base classes with your desired properties (speed, friction, visual style)
2. Use KasugaLib's Create integration registry to register your track or bogey, providing the class and a unique identifier
3. Define track materials if creating specialized track types—KasugaLib's helpers manage material property registration
4. Register any custom behaviors (how trains interact with your track) through the behavior registry
5. Create corresponding blockstate and model files for visual representation
6. Test your custom track or bogey in a Create train setup, verifying movement, speed, and visual alignment
KasugaLib handles the Create mod's internal registration requirements automatically, eliminating manual event listener setup. Your custom tracks and bogeys will integrate seamlessly with existing Create trains and contraptions.
